I’m an HR Manager/Generalist who’s most effective in a role supporting employees and managers across the spectrum of HR activities from Benefits to Employee Relations to Recruiting. At the American Humane Association, I revamped the recruiting process to take three weeks off the typical requisition-to-start-date recruiting lifecycle and improved the quality of hires at the same time, thereby reducing turnover. Having segued into HR from an Office Manager role, I’m equally at home re-writing an employee handbook or policy, creating management reports or working out thorny employee-relations issues. I work equally well with local and remote employees and have managed people and budgets to surpass annual goals; my passion is making my employer a wonderful place to work while keeping costs in line and HR processes smart and nimble.
