• Consult with managers, owners, and staff on day-to-day operations of HR policies, procedures and programs for a national franchise organization. Functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. • Consult with managers, owners, and staff on recruiting and staffing logistics; interpreting and applying personnel laws, regulations, practices, and procedures relating to recruitment and placement activities; and analyze recruitment and placement issues to provide recommendations and/or solutions; • Consult with managers, owners, and staff on performance management and improvement systems; organization development; employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting; employee orientation, development, and training; policy development and documentation; employee relations; company-wide committee facilitation; company employee communication; compensation and benefits administration; employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; and employee services and counseling. • Lead research and development of recruitment and retention Best Practices for system-wide publication via web. • Assist Human Resources Management in the development and implementation of strategies to support the continued profitability and growth of the franchise system. • Serve as a key staff support person by providing recommendations and actions relating to recruitment and retention; conducting job analysis, reviewing applicant qualifications, and referring eligible candidates for employment consideration. • Provide Human Resources generalist support for services, and programs. Facilitate the effective alignment of organization objectives with overall corporate priorities.
