My name is Bryan Opalko. I will be moving to the city of Chicago in a few weeks and could be available sooner if a position requires an earlier start date. Here is a bit about my education and career thus far!
I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a double major in Print Journalism and Electronic Media. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Central Michigan University with a concentration in Business Administration and Human Resources.
To supplement my education, I possess a variety of general business work experiences, particularly in the area of Human Resources. These experiences include the drafting and writing of new employee contracts as well as the development and facilitation of numerous training related presentations. I have also managed an organization’s new hiring process and have worked as a Technical Recruiter that included all related activities such as web-postings and other advertising, pre-screening interviewing and background validations. Additionally, I have developed departmental budgets and completed various financial and analytical reports.
Of equal importance, I am able to offer an organization a wide variety of Communications work experiences including, but not limited to, writing feature articles, press releases and short press clippings. I have also been involved in the development of advertisements, various event planning activities and the scripting of lead stories that have been featured on “live radio broadcasts.”
