Highlights:
Re-engineered satellite to ground communications equipment - saving $23 million on initial contract purchase. Leader on team to move MCI software development operations from CMM level 1 to CMM level 2. Program Manager for GPS technology proof of concept - when hired there was no staff assigned to project and no work had been performed on contract. Proof of concept relied on fixed satellite window. I was able to successfully complete proof of concept that no one thought could be done in the narrow window we had and the net result was award of a much larger follow on contract. Turned around a poor performing, low morale software development team and turned them into the most efficient, highest performing, and best quality team in the company. Proceses were borrowed for use by other development teams.Companies I like:
