COVER LETTER: I am responding to the need for a Director of Sales. Have (25) years of in-depth hands-on experience as a Director of Sales in various EPC Industries like that of large EPC Construction, Chemical, Plant Construction / Maintenance, Oil and Gas, Custom Steel Fabrication, Gas Treating / Emissions, Ethanol, Refinery's, Renewable Energy and in my own Company. As you'll see on the enclosed resume, the depth of my experience offers you the opportunity to hire a seasoned professional - one who can begin being productive at once. As the Director of Sales, I am responsible for Sales / Business Development and manage multiple EPC Projects / Project Controls. Once I have sold a Customer and a Contract is issued, I direct complex EPC Projects from the initial Bid Phase through to the completion / final acceptance by the Customer. I hold a BSOL Degree w/ a 3.8 out of a 4.0 GPA in night school while working full time days and will obtain my Master's degree within the next (12) month's. I have excellent Computer skills. * Sales / Sr. Project Management / Engineering / Controls: I have P&L responsibility to Sell each EPC Project and then I manage and lead multiple complex EPC Projects in an Industrial environment from preparing Cost Estimating to the initial Bid Phase providing Estimating, Engineering, Quality Control, Safety and once the Contract / Project is awarded by the Customer, then I move forward to Document Controls, where I review Documents and Drawings and revise and submit to office, jobsite personnel, subcontractor and vendors. Once this work has been completed, I move towards Material / Equipment Procurement with long lead items being a priority to maintain the Schedule at hand. I will then ensure Subcontractor Coordination, continue to monitor and review the Schedule, ensure As-Built Drawings are taken care of and continue to work through the Project Coordination process until the Project has been successfully completed and accepted by the Customer. * Profitability: Led each company that I have worked with into a higher profit margin, normal margins range in the amount of (25) % +. * Team Leadership: Led and motivated teams of up to 300+ employees that included sales, engineering, project management, and plant production employees. * Facility Expansion: Manage the Engineering, Project Management and new / existing work within Plant Operations.
