My name is Magdalene V. Arroyo; I am looking for an Senior Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant, Editor, or an Executive Assistant position. I have multiple years of experience as administrative, office, and legal assistance, and I feel as though I can be a perfect fit. I am professional, personable, efficient, and determined. I learn quickly and have a natural enthusiasm. I have recently graduated from the New School for Social Research. I have a Master’s of Arts Degree in General Psychology, and I have just completed a second Master’s of Arts Degree in Politics, in May of this year. I am enthusiastic, determined, driven, a team player, and a fast learner. I am extremely personable and very sociable; I can type fast and I have the capability of multitasking. I can take direction well. I also currently work as a legal assistant at a law firm. As a legal assistant, I am responsible in assisting the attorneys of the firm, maintaining the filing and organization of the legal library. I also have to make sure that my work gets done at an appropriate level with a sense of efficiency. I have worked in political offices and within my church. I attempt to maintain well-rounded and strive to aid my community and volunteer when I can. I had had an internship within the office of Assemblywoman Cathy Nolan’s office. That internship with Assemblywoman Nolan helped me use what I knew about politics and public relations. I have volunteered in the past, and currently, at St. Brigid’s Church teaching children religious studies and aiding with the teenagers whom chose to do community service with ushering in the Church. I feel that I would be well-suited for this venture, and that the venture would be well-suited for me and the skills that I have. Within my church and my community, I strive in making the ushers feel welcomed no matter what. I like facing new challenges and learning new things; I embrace it with an open mind. I will be able to learn new skills and adapt as well. I am highly organized and dedicated to my commitments and responsibilities.
