ACCOMPLISHMENTS Entrepreneurial General Management Identified an opportunity and founded a printing business with an initial three person team. Within two years, achieved $1.5 million in sales. Successfully sold the business to a larger company. Business/Financial Management After two years bootstrapping, negotiated a line of credit with a bank for the printing business. Identified potential banks, negotiated the deal and obtained financing, enabling the company to grow further. Sales Team Development Created sales groups for Disaster Recovery Services in Boston and New York. Recruited, hired and trained 25 reps, and exceeded sales objectives for the year. Project Management Oversight of a number of projects at Comcast including Customer Experience in which internal/extern al customer pain points were identified and addressed. Additionally had oversight of XH home automation and the adoption of self-install kits. Managing Market Opportunity Identified an opportunity to sell RCN services to small businesses. Established a Small Business Sales group and generated $1.5 million in new revenue in the first year. The Small Business Group is one of the fastest growing in the company. New Revenue Generation Identified an opportunity to expand advertising revenue for RCN. Created an Advertising Account Executive position which generated over $300,000 in new revenue in its first year.
