My value to a business enterprise, its employees and customers is to impact sales revenue generation and company growth. What I bring is over twenty years of successful sales and sales management experience, capabilities and training that I have acquired working within start-ups and established technology companies. What I do is focus on solving business problems across a broad range of industries and building executive relationships with my prospective customers; to understand their reasons to invest in the services and products that my company and I deliver. I prospect for new business, manage my sales pipeline using effective processes and consultative skills that seek out qualified customers who can and will buy from me. My goal is to become a trusted adviser to my executive contacts, know what they value most and their motivation to improve their company's operational and financial performance. To illustrate result highlights that I have achieved in my career, notable accomplishments include: * In three years time, at AXENT Technologies I accepted the challenge of building a sales revenues and the sales team in an under performing region where competition was well established. The revenue grew from $1.7 million to over $12 million in the Central Region. I was a President's Club Member. The company was acquired by a larger competitor. * Through my leadership and sales experience, I led the sales team to the largest single transaction at that point in Wall Data's history. A large Midwest insurance company signed a $9.9 million purchase order for software and services to connect their entire organization's desktop computers to their enterprise computing environment. I was a President's Club Member. * I personally sold the largest number of accounts at a small software company, while managing partner relationships and an internal sales and support staff. I was a speaker at user conferences and published in trade publications to generate leads and interest in software development products and services. * Traveling across the upper Midwest to sell business process and operational improvement services to manufacturing company executives (CEO, COO, Presidents, Vice President & CFO), I opened doors to qualified revenue opportunities by establishing business relationships and capabilities for attractive rates-of-return in a pre-sales role. During 2008-2009, I had over 300 face-to-face meetings with executive prospects and over 180 remote presentations (con-calls & web-ex). Even in severe economic conditions I delivered eight (8) qualified prospects to the business acquisition team (proposal-price quote) with revenue potential ranging from $200,000-$2,000,000 (average $750,000). In closing any compensation plan is negotiable; I prefer pay-for-performance sales plans. I am first looking for a close fit to values, principles and culture where the company's management is committed to win, hire smart people and have strong work ethic. Next I look for the company's history to deliver what they promise to its customers.
