Sales Engineer - Automotive

After having helped a friend and associate start his own tooling company, I also embarked on the same journey in 1998 and started my own company. As with most startups it was very difficult at the beginning, and then smoothed out. However, with the economic downturn the future is difficult for small businesses and I feel it is time to begin a new opportunity. I bring to the table a base of knowledge unique in its makeup because it is based on many facets of the industry, beginning with on the job training, and escalating in many years of management and sales. Having trained dozens of employees who are now serving in this industry in varied roles from supervision to CEO, I know what it takes to help people grow within the company. I have also been responsible for all sales and sales personnel for several companies. For one company increasing their sales 25% in 7 months and of course for my company I handled all sales and growth. This was very encouraging and I look forward to being able to apply my sales knowledge and experience from cold calling to managing existing accounts to good use for your company. It is important for employees, especially those who meet customers and potential customers to be able to draw upon experience to give the customer the confidence that our company can and will take care of their peculiar and particular needs. With my background including hands on mechanical engineering, designing and constructing both tooling and machinery as well as previously bench hand work, it is possible to bring to bear an understanding of needs and approaches very few people have in approaching customers’, employees’ and employers' needs.
