RssPre-Sales Consultant

I want to work with a enterprise software company that can't expect to have the sales team to know the full functionality and under pinning’s of the application. I want to be able to support a team of sales people in order for them to be more successful in winning the business. I want to help create strategies, custom PowerPoint slide decks, and write white papers as a subject matter expert. I know that I am successful through my actions and consistent support to sales.

About Me

Industry:

Sales & Sales Management

Occupation:

Sales Engineer

Highlights:

In the past 3 years I have been awarded 2 times for being a top pre-sales consultant for sales. I am proud of both of these awards because the first industry was enforcing compliance in the Banking and Finance industry, which I had no prior experience. I was presenting to clients after 30 days of learning the software. I felt very comfortable with the legal processes in less than a year, which resulted in record sales and surpassed expectations for my first full year supporting sales. For my second award, I had moved into a different industry in which the complexity on my side was considerably more challenging than I experienced in my previous Banking and Finance Compliance position. I went into the network cabling infrastructure industry for intelligent patching. This involved enterprise software, hardware and network switches. It took me 4 months learning everything prior to presenting. By the end of my first full year, I had made a big impact on the sales team and our technical managers. They had all but given up selling this solution, due to lack of consistent support. I was involved in 2 completely different industries, yet managed to learn the solutions and best business practices fast enough to be award after my first full year of supporting sales teams, product managers, business partners and distributors. I am proud of those achievements.
