I played an integral part in getting my plant recognized in "Industry Week" magazine as one of the ten best printing plants in North America. I led a team of coworkers from all levels of the organization (production/hourly, supervision, management) in achieving a superior safety performance over a five year period that won our facility being recognized by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) as a "STAR" facility. This was a 900 associates manufacturing facility that prior to our project had one of the worst safety records in the organization. Participated on a team of managers in a successful effort over a two year period to gain ISO quality certification in both the Product Quality and Environmental Standards. Successfully co-lead an effort to integrate two stand alone printing/mailing facilities purchased by my employer in 2005 in a single operating unit. This was joint HR and Operations project. |
