Currently as the owner of AxisHR, I work as an independent consultant to help small to medium size businesses understand and appreciate the value of their employees. Many businesses do not take the time to think about what type of culture or atmosphere they want their company to be known for. They do not realize that rewards, benefits, compensations, titles, job descriptions, management style and anything that touches an employee feeds into the culture that is built within an organization. Wouldn’t you as the CEO and executive team rather that you build this in stead of it happening ad hoc or haphazard or in the worst case, have the wrong kind of culture develop?
