1. I was initially hired to write ad copy to recruit agents and franchises, and we were able to quadruple the number of franchises sold over a 3-year period; the number of agents increased from 20 to more than 15 2. During the first year, I established our Start Smart orientation program, which led to my development of the Smart Suite operations manuals. As our agent and broker population increased, I created an outline and materials for our annual conventions and regional training sessions. I then worked with IT to develop a learning center on the corporate website, which provided online access to all instruction manuals, orientation and convention materials. Our training and support activities are now the number one reason we are able to attract new recruits in a sluggish real estate market.
