I would have to give you the first reason I know sales is the field for me. My first job was for the Navy Exchange here in San Diego at the North Island Location. A woman came in to the store and she appeared to be pregnant although she looked to be of age, she got my attention and told me that she had a tumor in her stomach and it caused her stomach to be large one day and smaller the next she needed some pants that would be comfortable for her. I said no problem I can help you. I took her over to the maternity department of the store where I knew we carried adjustable maternity clothing and fit her into the adjustable pants. She was so happy and I must say so was I. This is just one example of a responsibility to the customer as well as the company. The second key responsibility that stands out is the confidence level my employer placed in me by leaving me to oversee a fully capacitated facility of inmates and I was the only staff member in the building!!!!
