CollapseDescription

Accomplishments * Successfully lead teams resulting in company-wide changes by collaborating with all stakeholders involved and obtaining review and input from peers and CoEs. * Successfully lead the project to transition API 755 Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) Best Practice into a Required Manufacturing Standard across all domestic sites. Drove more consistent FRMS exception application through the creation of new time codes and an online exception approval form (online repository). The online form reduced time spent by front line supervisors on the exception approval process and allows for easy reporting on exception causes and trends. * Led a Policy Review Committee to review several CPChem leave policies. Reviewed data from internal focus groups, Global Employee Survey responses and benchmark data resulting in a more flexible work environment and reduced "red tape" for approvals. * Proven track record of coming into difficult labor relations' cultures and improving the management/labor relationship through trust, communication, interest and respect for the grievers committee, stewards and union business agents/International Representatives (Pasadena Refining System, Inc. after the lockout ended in 2002 & CPChem Pasadena after 2012 negotiations). 12-year relationship of established credibility with USW Local 13 - 11
