MILGARD RESULTS: * Completed 360-degree feedback on all 275 Milgard leaders twice. Upgraded 360 templates for GM, PM, SM, FM, & HRM * Delivered an outstanding Leadership Development Program 100, LDP 200, LDP 300 during 5 each year to 12 in 2002 with a plan to go to 20 during 2003. Hired 34 key managers in 2002 with an average time to fill of 65 days * Ended the 2002 with our turnover at 39.8% which is down from 65% two years ago and 58% for FY 2001. Conservative estimated savings on 700 less terms and hires = $2.1 million per year * Significantly improved the caliber of HR Managers in Milgard. 10 new hires since I was hired in April of 2001 * Communications and relationships with the Plant HR Managers were significantly improved. Implemented a quarterly newsletter and quarterly conference calls as well as bi-annual HR Manager meetings Completed a data driven analysis of our benefits programs and have proposed and made appropriate changes to be more competitive. Brought the benefits reporting requirements into legal compliance * Safety effort has made significant improve going from an All Incident Rate in 2001 of 9.5 to 8.9 in 2002 and reducing the loss time rate from 1.8 in 2001 to 1.1 in 2002. We went from 62 Loss time accidents in 2001 to 43 in 2002
