this position Reporting to the Vice President for SCAD Hong Kong and the Vice President of Human Resources in is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provisions and daily HR functions of the location which employs over 100 employees. * Administered HR policies and procedures and recommended policy enhancements. Regularly met with department leaders across the location to determine needs and optimal organizational structure. Responsible for ensuring all staff and faculty recruitment and hiring is conducted in a non-discriminatory and aggressive manner to meet the university needs. * Administered compensation and benefits visas and employment contracts for all local and seconded employees. Conducted compensation analysis as necessary and modified policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with local laws. Organized and led comprehensive annual performance management (SuccessFactors) and cultural awareness trainings for 100+ employees. * Assisted department managers to ensure completion of evaluations and delivery of effective coaching and feedback for all employees. * Conducted and documented internal investigations of employee complaints. Advised management of recommended resolutions and coached university managers about successful methods for resolving conflicts. Handled disputes conducted terminations and administered disciplinary procedures. * Represented the organization at mediations and hearings with the Labor Tribunal.
