Description
HR Responsible for Regional Asphalt and Paving Product Line in Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas and Arizona. Manage Regional HR responsibilities as a business partner and member of the Regional leadership team. Worked closely with divisional general and line management serving as a strategic link between business areas and HR. Provided leadership on due diligence needs analysis for regional business reorganizations, change management and some acquisition activities. Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives in the areas of drug testing practices, Hiring and Orientation processes. Developed new vacation policy. Introduced automation tools for regional communications in areas of New Hire training, Safety and Environmental training. Worked closely with local market leadership to implement global HR initiatives supporting cultural shift focused on achieving a more effective organization in the areas of people development, customer orientation, and community commitment. Responsible for Performance Review and Succession Planning, bonus and merit processes. Responsible for implementation of Regional HR strategy and management in the areas of hiring, terminations, discipline, high potential talent sourcing and selection, talent development and management, performance assessment, retention employee relations/investigations, compensation and benefits, change management, coaching and consultation, some labor relations and immigration matters, special projects. Region -wide facilitation on HR initiatives and programs. Responsible for HR teams in Mexico and Costa Rica (26 HR professionals-all functions). Oversee revise coordinate and implement HR Management policies & procedures throughout division. Set and execute new strategic direction aligned with the needs of the business and its organizational goals & priorities (organized by mayor product lines holding safety and operational excellence as paramount.) Review and create centers of excellence in areas of recruitment and selection retention succession planning and career development performance management org. development payroll HRIS training and development Labor Relations benefits and compensation.
