Description
VA * Direct reported to DMM, and member of Bill Dillard, III's personal staff. * 300 store and staff development responsibilities for assigned cosmetic and fragrance brands and field account coordinators. * Possess a thorough understanding of all consumables buying roles including: assortment selection, national product launches, inventory flow, EDI ordering processes, net sell-in, fashion and replenishment forecasting, sell-through initiatives, regional and associate corp. strategy and branded training. * Responsible for top level vendor collaboration, negotiation and relationships, Space and Location negotiation, $68M P&L management, ordering, sales and inventory plans, new door expansions, vendor relations, merchandising, new store planning, marketing, advertising, assortment. Worked between Divisional Flagship and high volume stores in 2 regions for the purpose of rehabilitating underperforming locations and to successfully launch new locations. * Trained own and other store's Area Sales Managers for the regional VP's Trained Regional Business Managers for the Corporate Buying office. * Trained Business Managers for and Managed Plan Achievement and Positive Business
