Accomplishments Boral Building Products 2006 - Present Center Manager Responsible for all sales and operations for Boral's direct multi-million dollar sales center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. By working closely with the home office, sales representatives and clients, I identified and developed new growth verticals by expanding product offerings to increase sales in a challenged housing/commercial development market. Responsibilities include: * Creating, directing and managing Boral Direct Sales Center's sales policies, objectives, initiatives, and communications based on significant market and competitor research. Reviewed and adjusted as dictated by the marketplace * Participating in corporate strategy sessions with the home office executive leadership and executing corporate policy and procedures at the Center level * Creating business development plans for each Center sales representative that included targeted, executable and measurable action items which resulted in higher overall sales * Aggressively identifying new growth in commercial and government markets and developed client relationships that garnered sales thus increasing the Center's overall profit margins * Personally managing the bidding and securing of commercial and government business as new sales opportunities * Identifying area market needs and expanded product offerings in the Center to immediately meet those needs.
