December 2008 - Present - U.S. Bank - Assistant Vice President/Benefits administrator Operational management of Vision, Hearing, HSA and FSA benefits for 67,000 employees. Responsible for posting of $2 mil employee contributions each payroll. Quarterly posting of over $14 mil employer contributions. Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Audit payroll and enrollment files. Reconciliation of both files with vendors. Audit and maintain financial accounting for the HSA benefit for finance. Manage the San Francisco Health Care Ordinance for employees in San Francisco. Includes maintaining compliance with annual changes to the ordinance, computation of the eligible employees, create and upload the eligible file and sending money quarterly to the city. Participate in the annual enrollment process from review of summary plan descriptions and all plan related documents, to testing the online enrollment system. Collaborate with vendors on plan year changes, updates to their websites and posting of summary plan descriptions. Coordinate vendor risk assessments and ongoing risk management. Working with the Risk and Compliance team, as the Relationship manager for each of my vendors. Collaboration with vendors for improvement of the employee experience. Provide customer service for employees as well as 3 call centers. July 2004 to December 2008 - Park Nicollet Health Services - Benefits Rep Responsible for administration, implementation, and communication of all Health and welfare plans for 8400 employees, (5 unions). Including processing all employee changes, terminations, and claim issues. Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Assures compliance of plans and education of employees and customer service staff. Daily administration of retirement plans, including 401k, 403b, and pension. Manage pension payments with union pensions. Administer FMLA, ADA, leave of absence, and COBRA. Design and present new employee orientation weekly. Plan and implement employee benefits fairs.
