This starts at the beginning. Brokerage firms are hired by Manufacturers through an intensive interview. We were very successful in being hired by some of the top firms in the industry. * Management of Manufacturer marketing contracts with all Foodservice Distributors in Montana. Responsible for the negotiation of these contracts to best utilize the Manufacturer's marketing dollars and the Distributor's goals. * Established sales goals using the Manufacturer's objectives with my sales team and the sales forces within the Distribution network. In part, these were accomplished by the implementation and coordination of food shows, district meetings, and operator training classes, as well as one on one training sessions with the distributor sales force. * Maintaining Top to Top relationships with the owners, managers and directors of these segments: Restaurant, Healthcare, Beverage, Convenience Store, School System (K-12) and College and University . * Participated in dozens of Manufacturer meetings, with the opportunity to advance my sales knowledge through training provided by such companies as Campbell's, ConAgra, Hormel, Gold N Plump, just to name a few. These manufacturers took training seriously and provided a wealth of knowledge.
