ACCOMPLISHMENTS Authored and implemented a new workflow process and training curriculum during downtime, delivering it within 48 hours to the department, enabling the department to resume transcription services. Point person and Epic coach for the department during month-long downtime, directing tasks and assignments as needed to transcription team, in addition to providing problem solving and education on an ongoing basis. Transformed the department operations by redesigning the department SharePoint site into a wiki format, enabling the medical language specialists to increase productivity and quality. Succeeded in the deployment, training and adoption of the SharePoint wiki as well as introducing an A-Z Index on the SharePoint wiki using HTML code, accelerating navigation to resources essential to workflow processes. Consulted and trained other departments on using the A-Z Index and redesigning their SharePoint sites as a wiki to increase their departments' quality and productivity.
