Summary of Qualifications: Special Education Assistant: Being in a structured classroom working with AFS and functional skills students. Teaching basic skills of independent living, hands on skills, like cooking, cleaning, setting the table, organizing group activities such as circle time to implement their IEP goals. I work with one-on-one students in a regular classroom setting, reading aloud, scripting, and re-teaching skills on a daily bases to enhance he or she IEP goals that the teacher has already taught. I have been working with special needs children for12 years. Childcare Worker: Knowledge of and experience with prepared and served meals supervised naptime chaperoned children during field trips and outings and experience supervising educational skills and recreational activities for large groups of children. I have worked in this field for 7 years. Nursing Assistant: Performed the following duties in the care of patients in a nursing home answered call lights to determine the patient's needs, bathed, dressed and assist with undressing patients at bedtime, made beds, changed linens, cleaned the resident room took and recorded vital signs. I have worked in the nursing field for 5 years. Management: Knowledge of and experience with planning and directing activities of staff workers training new employees evaluating employee work performance able to delegate work tasks and able to do sales deposits on a daily basis. Food Service: Experience in cooking and preparing food in hotels and restaurants extensive customer service skills operated a cash register handled large sums of money and able to work well in a team oriented environment.
