St. Louis Aptimmune Biologics is a start-up company specializing in developing novel inactivated mucosal vaccines for the most costly diseases impacting the swine industry, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Virus (PRRSV) and Influenza A virus (IAV-S). Position encompasses both lab and administrative responsibilities. * Optimized indirect and sandwich ELISAs, quantified proteins, prepared stand curve and calculated results. * Maintained cell cultures in a BSL2 laboratory resulting in novel, high-titer swine cell line and virus stocks. * MO. * Ordered necessary supplies and equipment to certify St. Louis as a BSL-2 laboratory.
