OBJECTIVE: I will make a solid addition to your team with over eleven years of experience in teaching and a strong background in technology. I also have experience working with diversity and taught ESL for over seven years. I plan to empower teachers so they will ignite a curiosity and enthusiasm for learning in our students.
Furthermore, I have a true passion for kids! My students energize me and remind me that everyone has the capability to learn. I will bring best practices such as creative instructional strategies using technology, RTI effective lessons, and an effective volunteer program that will get parents and the community excited to be involved on our campus.
I believe the most valuable characteristics I possess are vision, credibility, and visibility. I will make the school�s vision the driving force behind decisions and actions. I will earn the trust of all staff, students, parents, and the community through consistency and integrity. I will be visible daily in the hallways, common areas, classrooms, etc. to ensure the safety and support of our students and teachers. Visibility on campus also allows me to answer questions, distribute praise, and intervene in a potentially escalating situation.
In addition, I plan to collaborate with my principal to address campus needs and understand his or her vision for our school. I am extremely loyal and will support my principal among staff, parents, students, and in the community. I am looking for a principal who will support and help me grow as an assistant principal. My campus principals are currently supporting me by allowing me to work as an assistant principal when a principal is going to be out. This real world experience has helped me grow and deal with situations that are not predictable.
