My marketing expertise is complemented by a deep understanding of state-of-the-art technologies, creative writing aptitude, targeted marketing experience, the ability to translate production designs into unique visual concepts. I have a proven ability to render, then create and maintain, a consistent company "look and feel". Branding is the name of the game. These characteristics and qualifications are some of the critical elements necessary to position brands competitively in any market.
I am seeking a position with a small to medium sized company where marketing needs are high, and the product or service is interesting and/or difficult to market. With 15 years of B2B marketing experience, I can take on a role as a Marketing Director as easily as a Creative Director - or both! I am very adept at taking complicated, unique products and services and presenting them in a way that allows the target audience to comprehend and embrace them. My adaptiveness, widely diverse experience and ability to implement and enforce industry best practices, solve problems creatively, and communicate effectively with every level of management would make me an invaluable asset to any company or team.
When budgets have allowed, I have been responsible for creating and then managing very savvy, creative teams that know how cut through the noise and deliver a powerful, consistent brand message across multiple markets, utilizing social media as well as traditional targeted marketing techniques. My true gift is the ability to build a powerful "marketing machine," then fine-tune it to serve a specific product, category or market.
Highlights:
â?¢ In February of 2016, I was asked to perform a complete rebranding and marketing campaign for the legendary "Lehigh Valley Flower Show." The project included designing a new logo, building a new website, creating content, creating social media channels, coordinating with an advertising agency, billboard design and integration with Instagram, radio and television advertising and Google Analytics tracking, collateral development and more. The 2016 show was so successful that a major show promoter (Ballantine Management) has since purchased the show and is going to base next year's promotion on the 2016 model.
â?¢ In 2013 and 2014 I was tasked by Fiberoptic.com to create an all-new website and UI experience for "The Fiber School." The school trains technicians in the area of fiber optic installation and repair. The website had to appeal to a global market (students from almost every country in the world) and had to be easy to navigate for potential students for whom English is not their first language. The website was ultimately very successful and, although having grown substantially in content, is still being used in the form which I first created. You can view it here: http://learnfiberoptic.com/
â?¢ Also while employed by Fiberoptic.com, I was tasked with creating a new website for their internal brand, named "Precision Rated Optics." The website was to include product overviews and other technical information about each product that PRO sells. The website is still in use: http://precisionratedoptics.com/
