Professional summary I am an experienced HR Professional with a proven record for performing Human Resources duties in several functional areas throughout my career. My experiences encompasses the areas of: Employee & Labor Relations, Onboarding, Strategic Recruitment, Benefits, OFCCP Compliance Management, Workers' Compensation and Wage & Salary Administration. ACCOMPLISHMENTS March 2015 Office of Federal Compliance Program (OFCCP) Audit - Orange & Rockland Utilities (O&R) Coordinated the company's response submission to the OFCCP Compliance Officer. Additionally, my outreach efforts in establishing relationships with veteran agencies when hiring, served as a benefit to the company during this process because it met the newly mandated standards of the OFCCP. These efforts resulted in the company receiving their letter of compliance within 90 days. Legal counsel noted that our audit was completed in record time and without any additional information requested. 2015 Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) - Orange & Rockland Utilities (O&R) Researched and coordinated meetings with various AAP consulting firms over a 3 month period to identify best practices and ensure cost effectiveness in preparing company's 2015 AAP Plan. My efforts and recommendation resulted in O&R hiring a new consultant firm to prepare the AAP Plan. This change resulted in a more efficient process, and separate plans for each location which made it easier to cite areas of deficiency. Also, this effort resulted in a savings of $10,000 in preparation fees this year and in the future. 2005 Implementation of Environmental Lab - Spectra Laboratories Managed full life-cycle recruitment process to fully staff and launch environmental lab prior to deadline. Resulted in the Environmental lab receiving a grant for additional funding due to its timely implementation. Acknowledged by VP/Operations along with their operations team for our efforts. 30/60/90 Day Follow-Up - Spectra Laboratories Spearheaded this initiative to track the progress and onboarding experience of new hires. Increased the company's overall retention rate from 75% to 90% in one year. This initiative further resulted in the company implementing a promotion recognition program to celebrate success for 25 new hires promoted within their first year of hire. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) - Clinical Diagnostics Laboratories Documented the SOP for Specimen Processing. The process included assessment of test validation, procedural review, and accurate documentation. Resulted in overall improvement in turnover within Specimen Processing department which aided in their meeting daily processing goals.
