The third Party Administrators for Westchester Health Care had failed to follow-up on reimbursements. Identified, pursued and received partial and full concessions from the State on 33 claims. Improved budget variance from 40-50% over budget to less than 1%. Developed methodology for accurate financial budget calculations based on state law, claims frequency and severity and healthcare industry. Mitigated costs with proactive programs, maintaining low variance and contributing to lowering Excess Insurance Premium.
