Demonstrated expertise in successful launch of profitable products and services worldwide. Special focus on software. EXAMPLES OF TARGETED ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Working in corporate leadership roles and as a contractor, have frequently created, revised and implemented short-term, annual and 3-year marketing and business plans- resulting in both full business launches, and shorter cycle product/service or solution launches. Recruited and supported channel partners. At SolidWorks, worked as primary marketing consultant to 13 channel partners at Telecorp, expanded channel program by 166% at Unisys and Exxon Office Systems, managed international channel partners. At BetterInvesting and Arzika, launched extensive "B to C" awareness programs, using all forms of marketing (and heavy social media channels) to increase attraction of new prospects and clients. Developed and used detailed metrics to ensure success of each campaign. Have initiated/created numerous integrated marketing and lead generation campaigns for both new products and the revitalization of established products at: Dictaphone, Exxon Office Systems, Unisys, Telecorp Products Inc., CA Technologies, Infor. Assisted VARS in creating them at Solidworks. The integrated campaigns consisted of both traditional tactics and non-traditional approaches, including: * Creation of all collateral material (online and print brochures, ad copy, sales manuals and sales training programs, sales presentations, e-mail and direct mail copy, call center scripts, website wire frames, etc.) * Conception and implementation of direct mail/e-mail campaigns (and campaign measurement instruments) * Sourcing and management of direct phone (call center) campaigns * Creation and revision of Websites for maximum SEO and lead generation * Utilization of Web 2.0/3.0 tactics (blogs, podcasts, videocasts, extensive social media) to promote products/services. * Creation and curation of multiple social media sites, and measurement of channel effectiveness. A FEW SELECTED MARKETING AND SALES MANAGEMENT MILESTONES: Consulted to 13 VARs (Value Added Resellers) throughout the Midwest, assisting them in initiating and strengthening diverse marketing operations, plans, tactics and campaigns. All efforts were focused on increased sales for SolidWorks. Managed marketing operations for tri-state mid-western Region for one of the world's largest software companies (CA Technologies). Developed and implemented fully-faceted marketing plan and integrated marketing campaigns for 80 - person sales and services team. Executed marketing activities to achieve YTD 36% growth in new sales ($33 million in annual revenue) and $97 million-plus in l license renewal. Managed full P/L operations, with a special emphasis on marketing/sales management for $10 M call center software and technology company (Telecorp Products Inc.), including: complete sales force and distributor channel management, brand image programs, advertising, sales tools and marketing collateral, product launch, trade show activity, public relations and product promotion. Managed 8 direct reports and 47 indirect reports. Responsible for 34% growth rate in top line revenue over 24-month period. Co-founded startup venture (Contractors Central). Created business plan sold most major client contracts recruited and supervised sales agents and marketing staff. Managed operations and all marketing activities. Managed development of Northeast U.S. territory for financial technology market research firm (Mentis Corporation).
