Description
Over a two year period, I recruited 16 new practitioners to the organization saving the hospital $240,000 in recruitment placement fees. I also built relationships with resident students in an attempt to enhance recruitment efforts and to provide shift coverage reducing large amounts of locum tenens coverage expenses. I reviewed and developed effective and efficient ways of delivering patient care to the community. In my involvement as practice manager I assisted in building enhanced physician relations. As the office manager of a primary care office I increased patient satisfaction scores and efficiency in access to patient care. I have improved overall patient satisfaction scores for Minot Avenue Family Medicine from 9% to most recently 51% with a targeted goal of 75%. I implemented new processes involving providers, clinical and clerical staff to achieve 7 out of the 10 practice preventative quality indicator measures. In addition I tracked patient utilization access. I implemented systems to improve access by reviewing and implemented systems to reduce the daily no show, cancellation rate and time to third.
