For the past seven years, I have worked as the senior vice president, director of marketing, for Community Bank, a regional business bank with 17 locations and $3.5 billion in assets. I have been responsible for all marketing and product development, including developing and executing an annual strategic marketing plan and budget; overseeing all branding and industry-specific communications; manage new product development, event planning and cross-sell efforts; and supervise a marketing staff of four and reporting back to the bank’s CEO. My work with Community Bank represented the pinnacle of my experience in the financial industry, granting me experience in overcoming tremendous economic obstacles and managing content in a highly regulated environment. Prior to working with Community Bank, I was the first vice president, relationship manager, for Countrywide Home Loans, in which I was tasked with improving key metrics for the company’s existing joint ventures. My work in the financial industry has been rewarding and challenging, but I am eager to explore other industries as well while utilizing the various marketing expertise and tools I have acquired over my career.
