I am submitting the enclosed resume for consideration of the Assistant position available. I have a background in office administration; I took a course at Valley Vocational Technical Center in Fishersville, VA in 2008. I have put my course to use since then working at the Days Inn in Waynesboro. I’m a front desk agent/managers assistant. My manager is aware I am seeking a different career. On a daily basis I assist my Manger in everything from transferring calls and taking messages to filing bills and putting direct bill checks into our system. Also on a daily bases I order supplies for front desk and housekeeping, I organize and file all credit cards used from our Lowe’s credit card to my managers business credit card. I am a very positive individual with very strong organizational skills; I’m on the phone most of the day taking reservations so I have very good communication skills. I believe I would be an excellent candidate for the position.
