I am currently a Human Resource Director for Texas Health Resources (THR) at the corporate campus in Arlington, Texas where we provide human resource support services for 24 hospitals and clinics across the North Texas area servicing more than 20,000 employees. With a background in managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring high quality human resources support, I am someone who gains satisfaction from bringing about results and improvements in the workplace. As a HR strategic partner, I have high standards and strive for best practices throughout the organization. By monitoring and measuring our HR processes, I am able to see opportunities for improvement and provide advice on ways to become more efficient while aligning with each line of business. In addition, I am THR’s subject matter expert for FMLA, WC and ADA claims and I provide yearly training to all management throughout the organization on updates to FMLA/ADA legislation. I have a proven track record in coaching, developing supervisors and decreasing employee relations issues. My solid legal education affords me a keen eye toward potential employment liability issues and allows me to work closely with legal when appropriate.
