Description
Accomplished HR professional with over 30 years of relevant human resources management experience with extensive knowledge of employment policies, labor contract and labor and employment laws. Proven skills in employee relations, coaching, mentoring, employee development, succession planning, strategic planning, compensation/benefits, grievance resolution and mediation. Effective communicator with the ability to build strong business partnerships/provide leadership collaboratively on teams and independently at all levels within an organization and outside entities. Detail oriented, strategic thinker capable of working in a fast paced environment requiring multiple demands and changing priorities. Demonstrated knowledge of applicable local and federal laws and regulations including EEOC, FMLA and ADA. Experience includes investigating, documenting and responding to complaints/inquiries. Strong knowledge and experience in recruiting for exempt and non-exempt personnel in union and non-union environments. Recruitment experience includes proactive candidate searches, interviewing, and selection and compensation negotiations.
