I began his career serving with the U.S. Army as a non-commissioned officer. After serving my country, I moved to the public sector and worked at Lincoln National Life Insurance Company as an administrative professional. I then secured a position at the Fort Wayne Newspapers, a private employer as a summer intern. Recognized for my abilities, I was rapidly advanced to higher levels of responsibilities including being a staff accountant, accounting supervisor and being named as an accounting manager. Recruited to the Monterey County Herald as the CFO, I developed a strong record and secured a record of developing accurate accounting and financial structures.
