Description
Accomplishments: * Conducted seminars for parents of students with disabilities to explain disabilities and their effects as well as explain the IEP process. * Created and executed lesson plans for whole group sessions, small group sessions, and one-on-one sessions. Utilized visual and audio aids, lectures, modeling, role-playing, repetition, and computer technology to teach concepts. * Developed and administered assessments to monitor student's progress in reaching educational and/or behavioral goals and objectives. * Conducted meetings with general ed. teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students with disabilities. * Determined proper educational setting for students with disabilities to successfully meet their educational goals and objectives.
