Highlights:
In the weeks immediately following September 11, 2001, I was instrumental in conceptualizing, implementing and fast-tracking a study of birth logs from the maternity wards in three downtown New York City hospitals. Recognizing the necessity for studying potential health effects of the tragedy, I volunteered my own time in addition to paid time in order to set this important study in motion. Currently, I manage the data for three multimillion dollar, federally funded research centers.
