After initiallly studying industrial design, with a focus in product and transportation, I came to the realization that design is more about the emotional connection that we establish with a product, rather than just the physical attraction. An opportunity presented itself to work with a start up to enhance the user’s experience through designing the interaction of a newly developing technology. Exploring the options of gestural technology by testing its limitations through basic, everyday user scenarios and experimenting with user interactions, I created short animations and exposed negative occurances with the newly developing technology, by suggesting certain gestural innovations to initiate user functions and simplify the user’s overall experience.
