Software Developer

I am a graduate student in Software Engineering at San Jose State University with specialization in Enterprise Application Development. I would be graduating by end of August 2014 and currently looking for internship/full-time opportunities in software development. I have 4+ years of work experience and have worked on the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of applications for the telecom and financial domains. During my 2.5 years tenure in Wipro Technologies, I developed and maintained software applications for Nortel Networks. Later, I moved to Headstrong and developed Credit Risk Management applications for Credit Suisse Bank. The technologies I have worked on include Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, SQL, Servlets, Swings, Shell scripting, JDBC, Twitter Bootstrap, DWS (AJAX), etc. My college coursework also includes Data Structures and Algorithms, Enterprise Application Development, Enterprise Distributed Systems, Web and Data Mining, Smartphone App Development for Android, Windows and iOS platforms,etc. For my Master Project, I am working on the implementation of a recommendation system based on the correlation between information propagation, social influence and sentiment analysis using data from social media.
