CAREER SUMMARY Mr. Schifferdecker is a registered professional geologist with over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and environmental consulting. He has consulted to banks, engineering and legal firms, land developers and municipal governments. He has conducted detailed site investigations for real estate transactions requiring delineation of development constraints and risks presented by ecologic boundaries or contamination of soil and groundwater, evaluating risk to the human and ecologic environment in State and Federal regulatory settings. He has evaluated numerous sites for wetland boundary verification, storm water and community wastewater disposal, and permitted actions in freshwater and coastal wetlands and waterfronts. Mr. Schifferdecker has also served as an environmental specialist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, advising various grant programs on compliance with Federal and State environmental laws, providing geotechnical, geomorphic and hydrologic analysis. He has worked in all regions of the contiguous United States, approaching assignments with a priority to identify client needs and help them achieve their goals.
