Secure a position in the Transportation Industry as a Safety Manager where I can apply my education, experience, and training in Fire, Rescue, EMS, transportation to further the companies safety culture and reduce the costly expenses of Fire related issues and transportation related costly issues. In the fire, rescue, ems I have 20+ years experience both in public and private (industrial fire brigade) experience. As an Industrial fire brigade member I was shift supervisor for Chrysler (St. Louis, Mo Plants)so maintaining safety aspects for 2 plants that employed 5000 +/- workers and keeping safety at the utmost importance. Ensure fire extinguisher were maintained, ran ems calls, provided fire coverage for all hot work (welding) and provided rescue coverage during all confined space entry work. As a transportation worker I am a certified driver trainer with 1.7+ million safe miles no chargeable accidents. I am a safety advisor, freelance writer/blogger. As a trainer it is my job to provide new employees with the correct knowledge to complete their work assignments as directed by company policies. Provide necessary safety training, safety information and or needed updates. I have had articles printed with NBC News, Firehouse Magazine and several blog sites.
