Highlights:

One of the highlights of my career was the opening and operation of the learning center and the successful operation of that facility for a significant period of time. I also derived a great deal of satisfaction as regional coordinator of special education and the quality of training programs I was able to provide to the teachers in the region. Program evaluations from the attendees endorsed the concepts being offered and were subsequently included in their daily teaching.

Companies I like:

Public, Private Schools with full range of student abilities in general education and special education.

CollapseResponsibilities

I served as principal of a learning center focused on special needs students and oversaw the total operation of the facility from the construction phase to implementation of the programs for which it was designed. That responsibility included building management, supervision of staff and chairing team meetings in the development of appropriate educational programs for students that were referred to the facility. I reported to a regional board and superintendents. I coordinated special education in a regional education service agency and provided staff development and training for the administrators and staff of the member school districts. The programs focused on offering the latest and proven teaching and management techniques for general and special education teachers.
