CollapseResponsibilities

Manged a team of 5-7 technical employees responsible for the support, maintenance, and customization of our 3rd-party ERP package as well as developing external applications to fulfill business needs. Responsibilities include all the day-to-day management of personnel, project planning and management, hiring and firing, reviews, budgeting, and skills development. Additionally, I served as a source for technical development leadership by suggesting new technologies, suggesting automation of processes, recommending new strategic projects, analyzing ROI of new initiatives, providing guidance for users, overseeing training initiatives, coordinating project implementations, working with contractors, providing detailed business analysis, and working directly with executive-level management to communicate technical issues/solutions into business benefits. It was my job to provide the technical heartbeat of the company to provide new ideas and proactively provide solutions to problems that have not yet been encountered. My responsibilities extended far past Applications Development Management as I was expected to be a business expert, a technology expert, a project management expert, and a professional information technology expert. Reported directly to CIO/CFO.
