Highlights:
I began my career with Channel 7 in Denver right out of college as Secretary to the Program Director and later Assistant to the President. I was with the company for 10 years and left to become a stay-at-home mom. In 1977 I went to work for Mountain Bell beginning as a Service Representative and advancing to Business Office Supervisor, Phone Center Manager and, after divestiture, as a Direct Marketing Manager marketing 4 to 16-line systems to small business by national telemarketing. Later I worked for several high-tech companies as Executive Assistant to the CEO and CFO and was laid off periodically in the bust of the high-tech industry. Most recently I was co-owner and manager with my husband of a successful general contracting business until he fell ill and the business had to be closed down. I immediately took a position as a Medicare Agent for Convergys Corporation. Our group has been told to expect a total lay-off June 30 because of a contract cancellation. I am seeking employment now and hope to find a situation where my background and experience will prove to be valuable and valued.Companies I like:
