Description
After finishing my Master's thesis, I stayed at Brandeis to finish the project I had been working on. I published a paper on that topic in the Journal of Molecular Biology. I continued to work in that lab for another year and contributed data to another published article. I then moved on to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where I am currently working. I am now testing patients with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), using RT-PCR to measure the amount of cancerous cells present before, during, and after chemotherapy treatment. We use these results to determine if the patients are at risk for relapse and should receive further treatment to prevent it.
