After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2007, I've spent the last five years developing a strong corporate finance skillset at B. Riley, a Santa Monica based investment bank. As part of the firm's Technology Group, I worked directly with companies within the consumer internet, digital media and software industry verticals in their efforts to raise capital, pursue acquisitions and grow brand awareness. My role required me to work with our client's executive management teams to gain a strong understanding of unique business models, develop detailed corporate memorandums, construct complex financial models and consult on growth strategies. I firmly believe that my relevant banking experience positions me as an attractive candidate for a business development role at an emerging company in the Los Angeles area.
