Administrative Assistant/ Data Entry Clerk •Ensured accuracy of daily time entry of all of the attorneys, law clerks and paralegals into the system so that bills could go out to the clients. •Entered new cases/file numbers daily into data base and with complete accuracy to prevent billing errors. •Maintained accuracy of corporate legal checkbook by preparing daily checks that needed to be mailed out or were needed for attorneys, law clerks, paralegals and staff to take to court. •Worked closely with the vendor for offsite storage of files and file related materials. Sent civil, subrogation files plus miscellaneous office items to off site location, and retrieved when necessary. •Scanned documents into legal office systems as well as to claims system. •Downloaded records from websites into programs used by the legal office and the claims office. •Ordered supplies for the office, put them away and kept the room neat and organized. •Maintained the copy machines for the office, called for service and kept the machines up to date. •Accessed and printed documents from the claims systems to meet legal and compliance needs. •Processed the incoming and outgoing mail.
