Hand selected from among the Air Forces Senior field grade logistics officers to lead the logistics team at three major Installations as Senior Logistics Commander at Joint Base Lackland, San Antonio Texas, Scott Air Force Base Illinois and Taegu AB Republic of Korea. Additionally supported the Seoul Olympics. - Selected as Air Staff Senior Officer of the year in 2003. - Selected as "Best in Command' from among 7 installations for "Excellence in Contracting and Air terminal operations", culminating in 10 months of intensive direct support during surge operations in support of two major combat operations. Effectively managed sustained movement of "sensitive" high priority materials. -Won the City of San Antonio's "Green Fleet" award which drew State-wide recognition and the City's award for excellence by converting 60 percent of the installation's 120 vehicle fleet to natural gas, highlighting the Air Forces' commitment to environmental awareness and Service to the region.
