As my education and work experience shows, I have a diverse background from IT to Accounting. My years in the wholesale and retail industries have given me a 360-degree perspective on how a business operates. I understand how a business decision can influence the effected departments. Since receiving my undergraduate degree in English, my work history has led me down an IT path. I gained more than sufficient experience that Boston University accepted me into their Master’s program that combined a business degree with a computer information systems degree specializing in database management and security. Between these two accomplishments, I also possess an astute ability to learn quickly on the job. This has enabled me to grow beyond my job description and quickly contribute more to the company’s growth. Privately, as a hobby, I am teaching myself HTML and CSS. I am familiarizing myself on Social Content Optimization (SCO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts. As a result, I am currently providing contract work for catalog and e-commerce companies. I am currently seeking part-time or full-time work for either an established company where I can slip into any position with minimal disruption or a smaller company that needs someone who can “wear multiple hats.” Thank you for your consideration.
